I was looking at the the Bullis Charter School 2010-2011 School Accountability Report Card and I noticed that they spent $13,272/student in the 2009-2010 school year.
Looking at the numbers in the LASD Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for 2010, they report there were 4,385 in the district that year (first full paragraph at the top of p. ii), and the district paid $44,993,723 for its operations that year (the table at teh top of p. 9). That works out to $10,261/student in the 2009-2010 school year.
This means in 2009-2010, Bullis spent $3011 more than LASD per student, which is 29.3% greater. Based on my last post, the gap has closed. But at 20.6%, it's still significant.
