Narrow Stairs by Death Cab for Cutie: Best Album of the Year

I can't say that I've heard most of the albums released this year, but I have sampled at least a song or two off of many. But Narrow Stairs by Death Cab for Cutie stands in a class by itself. It is so good, I even included it on my list of best albums of  all-time.

The funny thing is, the song they picked for their radio single, I Will Posses Your Heart, is the weakest song on the album. The second single, Cath..., is one of the better ones. For me, the best song on the album is Your New Twin-Sized Bed, followed by Grapevine Fires.
